Last 28th of September, the members of CBCG group, had the pleasure to recieve the visit of Prof. Charles Laughton, from University of Nottingham. He actually is professor of Computational Pharmaceutical Science in the Faculty of Science of this University. Prof. Laughton is an old collaborator from the group who is developing his research on understanding molecular recognition in biological systems and his application in medicinal chemistry to aid in the design and development of drugs. He is an expert in computational methods for the design and prediction of structures, dynamics and properties of biomolecules, such as proteins and nucleic acids.

Moreover, we had the privilege that he participated in our group seminars with his presentation entitled "Kinetic analysis of ligand binding at the beta-1 adrenoreceptor"
